The boiling water reactor of the Zwentendorf Nuclear Power Plant (NPP Zwentendorf) in Austria was completed but never put into operation.
Areas are accessible which can only be visited by people if extensive safety precautions are taken due to the high level of radioactivity.
Over the years the power plant facility was converted to a training reactor. Maintenance, repair and dismantling measures can be trained under realistic conditions.
The Zwentendorf site offers unique training opportunities for employees working at nuclear power stations.
A video of one of the training options is available here.
We invite to take the virtual tour.
Please address any inquiries relating to carrying out special trainings to firstname.lastname@example.org.
